On Friday, I took the boys in to Winnipeg to do a bit of shopping with Auntie Julie and Nicolas. Uncle Jaret was on duty, but he met up with us so that Carter could finally see him in his uniform and see his police car (he had been asking for a long time to do that). It was a huge hit! Carter was a little overwhelmed at first and a bit nervous, but could not stop talking about it on the way home. Thanks Jay!
Nicolas loved seeing his daddy and didn't want to let him go. Very cute!
Now that is a serious face. Carter was very busy concentrating on everything that Jaret was telling him and taking it all in, but he didn't trust Uncle Jaret enough to go into the back seat (wonder why?).
