The Hildebrand Family: Trick-or -Treat!

Pumpkin carving. Mister independent wanted to do everything himself. Everything that is, until he had to stick his hand inside the pumpkin. That he only did once, as he thought it felt gross. This, coming from a kid who loves to handle the most digusting things like frogs, salamanders, fish, worms, etc. I don't get it! But he had fun nonetheless. We decided to carve pumpkins into ghost, a ninja turtle, and of course, Lightning McQueen (we tried Scooby Doo, but he really didn't turn out). But the rest actually turned out pretty well. Check out the last picture to see the finished products.

Jaxon wanted in on the action too. Carter was very busy carving.

After the pumpkins, it was time to make pumpkin cookies and jello jigglers for his friends at daycare. Again, he wanted to do everything himself. This time, he had no trouble gettin gright into it, as most of it included taste testing the cookie dough, the icing and the sprinkles (just to make sure it is all good - as he put it). He did a great job too!
