Carter's first friend sleepover!

Carter started August off by having Cole over for night. This was the first time Carter had a friend stay for night and the first sleepover Cole had at a friend's place. The two boys could not have been more excited. Carter could hardly contain himself all day as he waited for Cole to come. It was such a nice day that the boys went straight from the town pool (where we met Robin) into our little kiddie pool at home. They had a blast.

After supper we all went to The Hut for ice cream and a slushie.

We borrowed Roberta's little tent to set up in Carter's room for the boys to sleep in. They thought it was very cool to go "camping" in Carter's bedroom. They even watched a movie and had their bedtime snacks in there. They were not coming out for anything.

Two VERY tired boys finally crashed and they slept all night in the tent. It was very cute.

The morning came and they were back at it. A little slower of a pace then the day before as I think all of the action was catching up with them. But they still had a lot of fun. as we waited for Robin to pick up Cole, they wanted to take one more spin in Carter's jeep, both wearing their Lightning McQueen shirts.

The boys did so well together and had so much fun that we will definitely have to try this again.
